Temeltek offers a wide range of micro-piling services along with the machinery with its professional technical personnel. Micropiles are deep foundation applications constructed applying high-strenght, small-diameter steel casings. There various micropiles in capacity in accordance with the design depth requirements.
The micropile casing generally has a diameter in the range of 7 to 25 centimeters. The casing is inserted similtaneously with the drilling head rather than auger. Reinforcement steel which is in the form of woven bar is instered into the micropile casing. Afterwards, high strenghth cement is casted into the casing. In accordance with the design requirements. the casing may be extended or terminated above the bond zone to achieve the required design levels.
Temeltek is capable of providing mini-piling services with the latest technologies along with our professional personnel. Lines of micropiles spanned by wooden lagging can be ideal where excavation walls are required in low headroom and other confined areas. Post-grouting within the bond length can increase frictional forces with surrounding soils, thus achieving greater capacity. Micropiles can serve to “stitch” the soil together, within predicted shear zones to enhance mass stability. In liquefiable profiles micropiles can transfer loads to competent bearing strata to conform to seismic design requirements. Underpinning of foundations adjacent to planned excavations is another micropile application.
At locations where there are existing underground utilities, other piling systems will not be cost-effective as the utilities might re-routed while trying to create a enough access for the operations. Unfortunately, in some operations you might need to stop all the operations at your facility. However, Temeltek provides cost effective micropiling systems which prevents any downtime in the utilities or the facilities. We can install mini piles avoiding the existing structures and utilities. Temeltek has the most professional engineers and operators to ensure the installation minimizes the environmental impacts at the building or facility where operations will be carried. Futhermore, micropiles greatly alleviate the quality assurance concerns associated with cast-in-place piling in weak soils.
